Selling A Home After Separation
With all we see on social media about finding your dream home, successfully selling your house, or happy couples moving in together, it’s easy to forget that not everyone buys and sells real estate under happy circumstances.
The early months of the new year are a time when many couples choose to separate. Unfortunately, this period of personal hardship is often accompanied by the need to sell and/or buy real estate as your situation changes. Our team has years of experience providing services for individuals, couples and families in transition.
We specialize in matching people with homes to meet the needs of all types of families, ranging from single parent, cohabitation, first time buyers, separations, blended families, down-sizers and estate sales.
Our team is experienced when it comes selling homes for clients facing challenging circumstances, including separation, divorce, or bereavement. Our team lead, Rachel Hammer, has professional training in conflict resolution and suicide prevention as well as a background in psychology. Rachel, Dana, Christina, and Krista are all Certified Negotiation Experts.
We strive to offer confidentiality and fair dealings with both sides of any conflict. We provide objective responses to emotional circumstances, sensitivity during times of duress, and the capacity to mediate between clients with disparate goals. We promise care, attention, experience and reliability to our clients. We understand the stress that attends selling and moving house, particularly under less than ideal circumstances, and we are committed to providing any coaching, counseling, and encouragement that our clients may require.
Our goal is to always do the right thing for our clients, not simply make a sale. Foremost, we are dedicated real estate professionals providing fair and honest advice to our clients, who deserve someone they can trust for all their real estate needs. If you find yourself in need of our services this year, we’re always available to help.
