My background in mechanical engineering helps me give my clients a unique perspective on their home.
As a mechanical engineer with a background in the green energy sector, Dana Palombo is passionate about providing clients with a unique perspective into the way homes are constructed and consume energy. Arming her clients with knowledge about building materials, waste, and energy conservation is what makes Dana an invaluable resource, whether they’re buying or selling real estate.
“My interest in real estate began when I was a kid visiting model homes on weekends with my parents. Coupled with my background in green homes, I knew I had something unique to offer homebuyers and sellers. Since becoming a sales representative, I’ve enjoyed every moment working with my clients.”
Dana brings a fresh and dynamic approach to real estate, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to buying/selling a home. She brings her wealth of knowledge in real estate to help clients find exactly what they’re looking for, whether it’s finding the right home at the right price or finding the right buyers.
Dana holds a B.A. Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Rachel Hammer’s team, she worked in energy conservation at a globally recognized firm in building controls and has worked on numerous commercial building greening projects.
Dana is a prior member of the Association of Energy Engineers.

We always felt we were in good hands with Dana; even my husband who is very skeptical and cynical regarding realtors, said he thought she was very good and also appreciated her attention to detail and thoroughness. We would ask for Dana again any time and would recommend her to anyone.
Excellent! Less stress than expected when buying a home in a new area of Ottawa.
As first time buyers we were apprehensive and overwhelmed but Dana guided us through all of the steps and made the experience a LOT less daunting than expected.
