Dear Friends,
Just a few weeks ago the Ottawa Citizen posted a great article that I felt was worth sharing and many of you may be able to relate. Ottawa’s mice and rats are on the move, disturbed by construction of the light rail train, big road and bridge construction as well as new home builds, there is a significant rise of pest issues this Fall in our city.

and despite all those reasons above and the article, most homes have no choice but to accept the possibility of a pest issue. Recently, not only were my sellers left with the responsibility of having to contact a pest abatement company but I too found myself today speaking with a Wildlife Specialist from Nature’s Way, in my 1970s built home about the possibility that I may have a problem in my home too!
Just the quick visit to add bait in my attic and traps in my basement cost me $170 with tax, in two weeks if I should continue seeing the little buggers the expense might come to almost $800 to alleviate. We are hoping they find a new home somewhere soon!!!
In the meantime, if you or someone you know requires a pest control company, I encourage you to consider Nature’s Way, great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are great and they warranty most of their work for up to three months.
Hope you are all doing well and getting ready for the Holidays! Stay warm,
Sincerely

Rachel Hammer
