June 2017 - Canada Day events in Ottawa

Dear friends,

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!

Ottawa is the only place to be for our nation's birthday! That's why we have decided to bring you a roundup of Canada Day events taking place across the city! Don't feel like braving the crowds on Parliament Hill? No problem; you will find celebrations everywhere from Stittsville to Orleans!

Canada Day in Barrhaven 
(sponsored by Mattamy Homes) includes live bands, the Homeniuk Midway and this year’s new addition of the Classic Car Show.   
See the full schedule of events here!
The Riverside South Community Association will bring laser tag, inflatable rock climbing wall, archery, golf, photo booth and more to Claudette Cain Park for this year's celebrations!
The Stittsville Village Association will be hosting Canada Day events on the grounds of Sacred Heart High School, including wagon rides, live stage entertainment, petting zoo and family zone--and, of course, fireworks! 

Canada Day in Kanata will be one to remember, with unique attractions, events, live music, vendors, and fireworks sponsored by Mattamy Homes.
The Kiwanis Club of Orleans is bringing Canada Day back to Orleans with a flotilla of boats that will sail into Petrie Island to open the festivities, including concerts, Ray's Reptiles, Disney Princesses and Radical Science!
The Russell Agricultural Society and the Russell Lions Club are teaming up to provide a community breakfast, entertainment, games, and a Canada Day cake for yet another great family day.
The Canada Day party starts early in Carleton Place, with a kick-off party at the Carleton Place Arena on June 30th, followed by a day of live music, vendors, family activities, and more!
Canada Day in Greely will feature a Perth Brewery and wine tent featuring live music, pony rides, food, and kids attractions. More details to come!
Vars Canada Day celebrations will take place at 1428 Devine road this year, and feature a beer and food garden, vendor's village, live band and talent show. 

However you choose to celebrate the day, on behalf of the whole team I'd like to wish you a happy Canada Day and a fabulous long weekend!
