8 Tips for Staging Your Home this Winter

Selling your home in the winter means paying careful attention to staging techniques. Why not take advantage of the drop in temperature (and perhaps a sheet of fresh snow) to help make your home feel warm and inviting? Be sure to notch up your furnace a few degrees and get the fireplace roaring to woo potential buyers.

• 1 1/2 cups of coffee ice cream
• 1 1/2 cups of eggnog
• 1 cup of strongly brewed coffee
• 4 tablespoons of whipped cream 
• 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

Place the coffee ice cream into a pan and set over low heat. 

Add eggnog and coffee. Heat until warm, stirring, about 3 minutes. 

Pour into four mugs. Top each with 1 tablespoon of whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg. 

Serve.
