This is one of the more balanced areas outside of downtown when it comes to commuting. East Ottawa is still close to the city’s core, and it’s easy to get around as parts of the neighbourhood are very walkable (like the older pockets). There is transit available in the Blair area (like bus routes and the LRT), and owning a vehicle is still a practical choice here.
